We think the person behind the brand is just as important as the ice cream itself.
Cecily was working in retail in London and living in Brighton (where she went to university) commuting for several hours a day not taking care of herself - you know the sugar, coffee diet -which (shockingly) was not making her feel good. So she gave up sugar, coffee, dairy - but she really missed ice cream. All the dairy-free alternatives she found were over processed and full of additives so she started making her own. Friends and family really liked it so Cecily resigned from her job and moved back to her family home in Cornwall - where she could concentrate on making delicious, vegan ice cream that tasted as creamy as dairy with icy texture. By moving back to Cornwall she has now realised her dreams of creating a sustainable ice cream brand that is inclusive and delicious and available at high street retailers.
In her spare time she likes hanging out with her daughters (both born in Cornwall), heading the beach and because she is a Cornish girl - some surfing too (but she needs a new winter wetsuit).
