We wanted to send our delicious creamy ice cream by post (internet shopping is BIG news guys) – but we could not find a way to package it sustainably and ethically (as we did not want to use wool – does not fit in with our plant-based credentials or horrible cellophane boxes not very sustainable).
We put our heads together, we fiercely debated various packaging (who knew it was such a contentious issue) - and we found a solution – upcycled and recycled denim. We did some trials and sent the ice cream as far away as Glasgow and our ice cream arrived frozen solid. We let out unfurrowed our brows and Cecily’s delivery box was launched – mail order ice cream to your door. Order with confidence guys – we’ve got this!
